The Winterline is a natural phenomenon observable only in a few places around
the globe, among them, the Himalayan Mountains of northern India. There, as the monsoon-washed skies turn clear, and the cold
winter months approach, the Winterline rises, a second and new horizon elevated above the dust and cooking fires of the plains
below, visible only from the perspective of the mountain heights.
