Presently,
Winterline Foundation is focused on supporting activity, in the Uttarakhand-Himalaya area of northern India,
that uses educational initiatives, institutions, or materials to encourage inhabitants of the region, especially school-age
children, to understand that they are "global citizens" in that:

They are
not existing in isolation, but instead are players on a large stage.

Their families,
communities and environs are significant.
�
Their own
locality, their awareness of it and its culture and institutions are important and linked in very real ways to a regional
and ultimately global reality.
